Burloak Canoe Club members won seven medals in the Mazda Knockout

GClarke The Burloak Canoe Club had the strongest showing at the third annual Mazda Canada Knockout Event at Ontario Place on September 12, 2009. Over 8 countries competed with a strong representation from Canadian Clubs.
Adam van Koeverden presents Kayaks to Canadian Canoe Museum.
November 18, 2009 - 3:38pm | GClarke Burloak Canoe Club member and Canadian Olympic athlete, Adam van Koeverden presented two of his K-1 Olympic sprint kayaks to The Canadian Canoe Museum for its permanent collection. This 27 year-old sprint kayaking star has earned Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals at the Athens and Beijing Olympics as well as several Worlds and other International championships.
Scott Oldershaw awarded Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Award
