The Burloak Board has formed a Capital Campaign Committee to develop a plan to take the club into the future.
Saturday, May 1st saw the first annual 8 @ 8 run held at Burloak. This was an evening 8 km. road race which wound through Olde Oakville and along Lake Ontario. The 1 km. kids race saw a number of youngsters running along with Olympic paddlers. After the race participants enjoyed a great barbecue, beer tent and live music. Thanks to all the volunteers for this event especially Pam Martin and Rob Sargant. Results from the race can be viewed at:
