Annual General Meeting held November 29th

The 2009/2010 board was elected at the AGM with a few of the same faces and some new volunteers bringing fresh ideas to the table. The meeting gave the club a chance to recognize achievements of the club over the past year as well as some individual members. You can see a list of the new board members on the Board of Directors link at the top of this page.

Some highlights of the meeting are:

  • Discussion regarding reduced hall rental to accomodate indoor training. Anyone willing to take on the position of hall rentals is welcome to come forward
  • Cindy Perry has resigned as Canmas coordinator and Mike Kerwin is stepping up to this position
  • Registration has been up in the past year-a very good sign
  • Reminder of Awards Banquet-December 21st headed up by Craig Jobber
  • Marketing Survey to be completed by members in order to gather suggestions for a marketing message-stay tuned for more information on this
  • Appointment of Al Thomson as Safety Officer, acting as a liason with the region regarding rules and regulations at a club level
  • Coaching achievements and areas for improvement discussed by Adam Oldershaw
