The Olympic torch relay runs through Oakville and Burlington this Saturday, Dec. 19th and through Jordan on Sunday, Dec. 20th. There are four members of the club taking part as runners in these three municipalities. Please take the opportunity to come out and support your clubmates as they participate in this exciting and historic event!

The members and the exact locations and times of their runs are as follows. Look for the bright orange torch route markers with their torchbearer number for the starting point of their segment:

Saturday, Dec. 19:

John Wood - from the Burloak Canoe Club to the library on Navy St. – 3:44 PM –Torchbearer # OTR 051-168.

Adam van Koeverden – near the canoe club, around 3:30 or 4:00 PM – (details not fully available).

Al Thomson – in Burlington – from Burlington City Hall, south on Brant St. to Lakeshore Rd. – 5:08 PM – Torchbearer # OTR 051-207.

Sunday, Dec. 20:

Brady Reardon – in Jordan, Ont. – from Emmanuel Church along Fourth Avenue to Heritage Christian School – 12:14 PM – Torchbearer # OTR 052-092.
