Many of the Burloak high performance paddlers have been traveling during this past month and you may have noticed their absence. Several paddlers attended the National Team Trials 2 in Dartmouth N.S in June in order to collect national team points and they and others will be traveling to Montreal on July 17th for National Team Trials 3 in Montreal. Selected paddlers are now in Montreal for a training camp for the Canada Summer Games which will be taking place in PEI Aug 24-28th. Others are going to Lake Placid for an invitational reagatta there July 5-6th. Mallorie Nicholson, Cory Rublee, Geoff Clarke and Chris Mehak are currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the Pan American Canoe Championships.
